Our athletics program will stress academic success, physical fitness, skill development, character development, discipline, and good sportsmanship. Our athletes represent our school and community, and are therefore expected to be student leaders with positive behavior.
-
Students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA (cumulative) in order to be eligible for sports participation. 6th grade is exempt from the GPA requirement for soccer and volleyball because they will not have a GPA yet.
-
All sports registration sections must be completed and submitted online before you can participate in any way (including tryouts)!!!
- Each student must be registered in the Aktivate system
- All sports registrations/forms are to be completed online in the Aktivate system. Do not turn in paper copies anymore. This is the county policy.
- Upload a current sports physical into Aktivate (“FHSAA EL2 forms”, “page 3 of 4” and “page 4 of 4”). This is in order to be medically eligible to participate.
- Make sure the “EL2” forms say “revised 7/25” under the “EL2” box in the top right corner.
- These are the only acceptable forms from the doctor. Once completed by the doctor, they must be scanned or take a picture and upload into Aktivate. You are not allowed to turn in a paper copy to the school. It must be uploaded online.
The forms can be printed out in the Aktivate system, using this link (Sports Physical), or picked up from the school’s front office
- The registration process includes sections for parental consent to participate and a section to download/print the physical form to take to the doctor, as well as, upload the completed form into the student registration.
*NOTE: When you register, select all 4 sports so that you will only have to do 1 registration. If you only select one sport and change your mind later, you will have to register again.
No additional “ECG” or “EKG” exam is needed. That exam is for high school only. - Each student must be registered in the Aktivate system
